I need a 90 days report (in order to request a certificate of residence - need to be from Thailand, not my embassy).

I'm on a tourist visa, arrived in December and did a 30 days extension and 2 covid extensions.

I'm about to get my Elite visa affixed (already paid), but that will probably reset the 90 days count...

and I can't really wait 3 more months.

So I thought to get the 90days report before, somehow.

Is there a way I can get it with a tourist visa?

If yes, how do I calculate the 90 days? It's a mess with all the stamps, under consideration etc.

I'm in Bangkok. I tried the online system but doesn't work since it's my first time.

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to obtain a 90-days report necessary for a certificate of residence while on a tourist visa. They have extended their visa and are about to transition to an Elite visa, but are concerned about waiting for the new 90-day count to start. Community members suggest visiting the immigration office in Bangkok to inquire if a 90-days report can be filed despite being on a tourist visa, and if allowed, to promptly apply for the certificate of residency.

GO out to MTT and GO to Counter A (the 90 day report counter) and see IF you can file a 90 day report. All they can say is no you can't and then that means in Bangkok you can't get a certificate of residency issued by the immigration office.

That's the only way you're going to know for sure. If they do let you do a 90 day report then go immediately to counter B and apply for the certificate of residency for 200baht and they'll mail it to you in about a week

@Benjamin *****
I asked during my first 30 days extension and they said "no need"

But I don't understand if "no need" is the same as "can't", and in case I can I'm not sure when I should go

What immigration office are you using? Some immigration offices require a person to submit a 90 day report IF they are staying longer then 90 days, others do not allow a person to submit a 90 day report if they are not on an extension of stay (or stamp) that is longer then 90 days.
