What should I do if I can't report my 90-day visa requirement in Bangkok due to studying in Koh Samet?

Ok this is a little long winded but hope it makes sense

Visa: Ed Visa

My Condo: Bangkok

tm30: bangkok

Currently: Studying online because school is closed

Location Currently: Koh Samet (Have been for 2 months)

My next visa extension isn't until the 5th of Sept, but my 90-day report is due on the 5th of August. If I can help it I don't really want to go back to Bangkok until I have to which would be around 5th Sept.(and technically if I go now I am breaking the law).

I have tried to do the 90 day reporting online and as no surprise, it isn't working regardless of what browser I use.

What are my options? I potentially have a guy who would go to Bangkok for me (thai) and report my 90days for me.

Could I go and report in Rayong instead of Bangkok? Although my TM30 is registered in Bangkok would that cause a problem?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently studying remotely in Koh Samet while holding an Ed Visa and faces the challenge of submitting a 90-day report in Bangkok, due while they are away. They are exploring alternatives like having a Thai person report on their behalf or filing at a Rayong office. Community responses suggest possible solutions for submitting the report via mail or visiting the Rayong office, but the user ultimately learned that reporting in Bangkok is required and cannot be bypassed.

File your 90 day report by mail thru the thai post. USE the address that you live at and get your extensions from in Bangkok on the TM47 report form.

To do a 90 day report by mail in Bangkok you need to postmark the envelope 14 days before the due date, and include a stamped self addressed envelope to get the receipt mailed back

Include the following in the packet:

Filled out TM47

previous 90 day report receipt

copies of

data page of your passport

visa/extension

most recent entry stamp

TM 6 departure card

TM30 receipt

Mail it here;

Immigration Office Division 1

Chalermprakiat Government Complex

120 Moo 3 Chaengwattana Road Soi 7

Thungsonghong, Laksi Bangkok

@Tod ********
hi mate thanks I will bare this in mind next time but already passed the 14 days before deadline.

Go to the Rayong office and explain the situation.

Seeing that 90 day reports can be done via normal mail and online(when it works) I don't see why you'd have an issue. Tm30 adress only needs to be changed if it is a permanent change of home adress, not temporary.
