What should I do about my Non-O visa application while waiting for a new passport?

So I have a two part problem. I need to get a new Non-O multiple entry visa around the middle of July. Obviously the borders are closed at the moment and may still be closed at that time. Currently I am going to immigration every month and paying for the 30 day amnesty extension since I have already used the 60-day visit Thai family extension. My problem is that I also need to get a new passport because my passport only has 1 empty page left and the other page is the last page that says no visas. If I send my current passport to the states, they said it takes up to 6 weeks to get it back with the new passport, since I can't go to the US embassy here in BKK and get a new one.

So if I send it off, what do I do about my 30 day amnesty extension while waiting for the new passport to return? Is there anyway that Thai immigration could help me with this? And I know I can't get a new Non-O since my passport is full and there is nowhere to put a new visa. Any ideas?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user needs to obtain a new Non-O multiple entry visa but is facing issues with their current passport, which has limited space for new visas and requires a replacement that may take up to six weeks. They are currently on a 30-day amnesty extension after exhausting the 60-day family visit extension. Suggestions from the community include applying for a replacement passport and transferring the visa stamp, possibly seeking an extension based on financial support of a Thai spouse, or leaving the country to get a new stamp before the current visa expires.

This thread is spinning quickly out of control. Here's the facts:

1. The OP has a valid multiple entry Non-O visa valid until July 24th.

2. The OP has already taken the extension of stay based on visiting Thai family, which will soon expire.

3. The OP has a passport with only one more page.

Given this, the OP has a few options:

1. IF the OP has 400K THB in a Thai bank account, seasoned for two months, or has 40K THB sent overseas to a Thai bank account, to get an extension of stay based on supporting a Thai wife. This will give him another year to stay in Thailand.

2. IF the OP does not have the 400K, he can go on Amnesty, he can stay NO LATER THEN July 31.

3. The OP needs to watch the news about visas and borders VERY Carefully. AS SOON AS the Htee Key, Myanmar/ Phunaron Kanchanburi border opens, Bounce out of that border. IF he bounces out BEFORE July 24th, he can get another 3 month stamp, if he bounces out AFTER July 24th, he will return on a 1 month visa exempt, which can be extended by another 2 months at immigration based on visiting Thai family. The stamps issued at that border are small and space can be found on his current passport to issue those stamps. This will give him enough time to get a new passport and the stamps transferred over.

I'm closing comments. Good luck.

Someone mentioned about point 3, and how it may be misleading. The other reason why I recommend Htee Kee, Myanmar is because if that border reopens (Again, IF), the OP WILL NOT be able to get a visa to enter Myanmar, but instead a day pass that lets him stay in a small section of Myanmar in the middle of nowhere for a few hours. The Thai government MUST let him return back to Thailand. The stamps are also small as well.

Ask the embassy. They might grant an appointment, but like I'm not sure you need it as others have said

Highly unlikely, per
*************************************************************

"As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, passport centers have suspended processing and shipping of full-validity passports to Embassies and Consulates overseas. As a result, all passport renewal services have been suspended until further notice, unless there is a demonstrated need for an emergency passport. At this time, the Embassy in Bangkok and Consulate General in Chiang Mai can only produce limited-validity emergency passports which are valid for twelve months.

Apply for replacement passport as normal and have your current stamp transferred across.

Your consulate will tell you what you need to do.

He's scared he may not get the passport in time when the borders reopen
