Anyone had their DTV visa rejected because of an error in your submission? Were you able to go back and correct, or did you have to apply all over again? I missed one number in my passport, and they rejected my application….i am so upset with myself right now,

This comes up as soon as you click the eVisa link on all the Thai Consulates in Japan

I WISH it came up on EVERY embassy website 🙁

If I spend 10,000+ baht on something, I scrutinize it very carefully for flaws before handing over the money.

There have been postings about definite ‘glitches’. For example, paging backwards changed someone’s date of birth by one day. It wasn’t their fault. Someone else noticed it and verified that this does happen.

Nope, they are very clear on this. There is a pop up message asking you to review/ensure no errors, and that if you submit

with errors, it will lead to a rejection.

There are so many posts about loading a document and information changing that it makes me think their website is designed to do that to collect more payments, but I'm trying to not be paranoid. So many posts confirming to double check info with info being changed without even being touched.

first - load document. Then check and input any additional info. Double check on submit. And you will not have any problems.

good advice I followed that because I saw so many posts. But I accidentally submitted investment account balances instead of traditional bank balances which I think might be a problem. Even though the cash is in dollars in a cash management account inside my brokerage I guess it has to be traditional bank. 🏦 so I emailed the consulate and asked if it’s a problem and if so I can transfer and resubmit my documents 📃 from a different bank. Hoping they don’t reject me and offer me a chance to do that if it’s an issue.

for money proof they ask additional documents if they dont like them. So should not be a problem

Many people have posted their experiences here about that. A single letter or number wrongly typed would result on a rejection without refunds. Be careful.
