Yes, They asked for a stamp of exit from Thailand. I don't have it. So their request will remain unfulfilled.

I don't want to leave now and there's no point because at the time of filing I was in Thailand. There's a war in my country, it's hard to return

- ah, they asked for all your pages, which is not usual. They must have suspected. As an FYI, you don’t have to apply via your home country’s Thai embassy. You can travel to Laos or Cambodia and apply via the Thai embassies in either of those counties.

Ukrainians who applied in Cambodia were asked to provide a certificate of income certified by the embassy. The Ukrainian embassy does not certify such a certificate. Dead end. I am currently studying about Laos, if everything is not so strict there.

I can add an exit stamp by myself using Photoshop, which they want to see.

But for now I'm holding off on this step.

Lord, I just love Thailand, I earn enough to contribute to the prosperity of the country with my spending.

Why is it so difficult?

We strongly advise against engaging in any of the actions you've mentioned.

Such practices could swiftly lead to blacklisting or even detention at the IDC. Thailand employs a digitized system, making it quite straightforward for authorities to detect false information.

There are numerous legitimate DIY approaches to apply for your visa. We urge you to avoid fabricating any details that do not match your official records.

If you've mistakenly applied for a visa from within Thailand, we can assist you. However, it's crucial that all applications go through the proper legal channels without creating a false history.

why is it so difficult to follow the rules? No country lets you apply for a visa while you're inside that country. Why is it so difficult to go to Laos and apply like normal people?

I'm not telling you what to do. But you are literally complaining about how they are making breaking the law so difficult for you. You won't find any sympathy. If you just follow the rules like the others who already have the visa then you'll get yours too.

if you applied while in Thailand it means you applied online. They do not check your status and how would they know you weren't in your country of application when you filed it, and the very next day you traveled here.

You'll be fine, ignore all the virtue signaling critics saying what a bad horrible guy you are.

one criteria is the data page of your passport, it's not rocket science to think they could check your passport online to find where you are! If your in Thailand then one criteria is you cannot apply from inside Thailand, therefore a rejection.

We've observed that applications are often rejected when the applicant fails to provide sufficient documentation proving they reside in the country from which they're applying.

While approvals may occur if they don't verify or request this information, it's still a significant gamble.

Our team has frequently been contacted by travelers at the border who were unable to re-enter Thailand with a DTV visa, seeking our assistance.

We've also heard of a few cases where people successfully entered Thailand or mistakenly applied from within the country earlier on. However, more recently, we've seen an increase in re-entry issues.

For those who don't want to leave their outcome to chance, we offer services tailored to a wide range of situations to ensure a successful result.

It is up to immigration, if an individual is in an abnormal situation we advise them to reach out to our team to ensure no issues as we will assist with their reentry, and make sure everyone is aware of why they are in that situation.

It is better to not run into this type of situation on your own as the result of it can be unpredictable, and could be costly.

Does this mean that you have to physically go to the Thai embassy in your home country to get the visa stuck into your passport or will they issue an e-visa?

they will ask for proof later on. so maybe you can exit to another country now and later show (upload) them proof of location in form of a passport stamp, rental agtreement, residence certificate etc.

How were you “misinformed”? The application literally asks where you are physically and asks you to provide evidence that you are there physically. If you answered Thailand, it wouldn’t let you proceed. Therefore you would have had to lie on the application

That screenshot is from Siam-Legal so I don't know if it's correct. I'd be guided more by the actual online application. I haven't looked at it, so I don't know if it asks for current location. But if it asks for it, and you answer "Thailand" and it allows you to continue it must be ok. I don't know and I'll stand corrected on it

the evisa site asks you for current location. If the location you enter is ineligble it tells you to go to the embassy in the country. If the OP anwered truthfully and entered Thailand as location, he would not have been able to proceed.

So he's actually falsified his application? That's a bit silly, he stands to lose his application fee

that would be the only potential way OP was able to move forward with the application on the e-visa site. It asks what country you are currently in, let's you know if you can proceed, then it ask what embassy/consulate you are using. Just before you submit the application it also gets you to agree that the information you submitted was correct and you have not falsified it. I suppose it depends on how closely they look at the application and if they check IP addresses if they'll approve it. Plus they will have to leave to activate the visa and if the immiigration officer is paying attention to the entry, exits and when the visa was issued... they could be totally hooped. Personally, not something I would do.

Yes! That's very true. The great thing about DTV is it's out of the scope of Thai Visa Agents. Applicants actually have to have the 500,000 baht in their bank account

agents have been advertising their services for assistance with the application process for the DTV visa, I sent one a message asking for more details, they replied by saying they would complete all the paperwork, and you need to go to Vientiane Lao, and complete the process yourself, they want ฿85k baht 😲😅

they are a genuine visa agent, I've visited their office in the past, just to make enquiries, 85k baht seems expensive tho, even for a 5 year visa.
