Am having an issue w the e online visa portal. The personal page w the drop-down for birthday is not aligning w the summary page at the end of the application. So if I put my birthday as the 8th, on the summary page before confirming it says its the 9th.
Anyone having this issue? I emailed them but not sure what to do. I am attaching a note to my application to explain this.
Any ideas? I'm trying to apply for the DTV btw. I guess I should make sure the summary page is correct and hope that along w the explanation will be good. Id be super bummed to be rejected because of an apparent technical issue on the online portal.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is facing an issue with the online visa application portal where their birthday is incorrectly displayed on the summary page after submission. They have reached out via email to resolve the problem and plan to attach a note to explain the discrepancy. Community members suggest ensuring data accuracy by checking and correcting any information, especially if it was auto-filled by a passport scanner, which may lead to mistakes.
When you scan your passport, use the highest resolution available. This may prevent some of these reader problems.

When applied on the eVias online web-portal and you scanned your passport on that passport reader and it filled in the data wrong
There have been story after story of that automatic passport reader getting the name, dates and numbers wrong,
AND
sadly if you don't check all the data carefully (as in go over it character by character) correcting it as needed so it truly matches what the real data is before the application is submitted it will be rejected due to a mis-match ๐
DO NOT TRUST that the auto scanner that fills in the passport data, dob, name etc did it correctly take time to check it and correct it if needed
