Has anyone experienced this issue with a Thai visa?
I just received my DTV visa, but there is a mistake in the "Passport / TD" section—it shows the wrong country.
Does anyone know if it's possible to correct this after the visa has been issued, or would I need to apply for a new visa?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
UPDATE: They let me in! The immigration officer didn’t even look at the paper I brought with me (eVisa).
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user received a DTV visa with an error in the "Passport / TD" section showing the wrong country. They inquired if it was possible to correct this mistake post-issuance or if a new application was necessary. Several commenters shared their experiences, suggesting that correcting the error via the embassy is often problematic, with some recommending to reapply for peace of mind. The original poster later updated that they were allowed entry into Thailand despite the error, highlighting the inconsistency in handling such cases.
