TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reported a mistake in their DTV visa application where their first name and middle name were in the wrong order compared to their passport. They sought advice on how to edit the application. Comments suggested that such mistakes could lead to rejection and recommended contacting the embassy for guidance. Another comment advised that if the application was submitted without payment, they could submit a new application with the correct information, but if payment was made for the incorrect application, there could be issues with reimbursement.
Did you submit and pay? 'Cause I remember you can submit without paying. If that's the case, just ignore that, and make a new submission, and just pay for the right one.
Now, if you already paid for the wrong one... 𫣠they can reject it without reimbursement đ˘
Simple mistake(s) could lead to rejection of your application. The visa fees will NOT be refunded in all cases.
The Embassy CAN NOT edit your personal details for you.
With a wrong full name, even if the Embassy had granted you a visa, you may encounter difficulties at the immigration checkpoints when you enter Thailand.â
Henrik Mau..I am in Finland and I live here. I contacted the Thai Embassy here. They said they have no right to change the application. Maybe nothing can be done?
Kalle Multisilta Changes in your personal details and passport details are not possible. The application will be rejected, and you can apply (and pay) again.
Incorrect or insufficient documents, you normally will get a chance to additional submit.
