Has anyone ever had an issue with DTV requesting more documents? They asked for my passport with middle name and passport only have middle initial but the application requested my full name so wondering if my Driver License with middle name will work I submitted that but passport does not have middle name spelled out

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is experiencing issues with DTV requesting additional documentation due to a name discrepancy between their passport and driver's license. The passport only includes the middle initial, while the application asked for the full name. Comments suggest that DTV will rely on the name as it appears on the passport, which could jeopardize the application if names do not match.

Does the application ask for your full name or does it ask for your full name as presented in your passport?

Anonymous participant - Nope, it says as it appears in your travel document. Your Passport is your travel document, not your driver’s license. A foreign government would never take your driver’s license as a “travel document”.

Anonymous participant - Actually it states to answer as it appears in your travel document. Whatever you entered will need to correspond to your travel document (e.g: passport). If it doesn’t, they will usually cancel your application and you fortify the fee (for some reason they are very strict with this).

They're going to go by the name on your passport only. If you put your full name in the application but only the letter is on your passport then I think you can kiss your application fee goodbye

Anonymous participant passport biodata is immovable for these applications. Make a new application and check everything again and again and again You are warned during that passport data/photo upload that the machine reader can make mistakes and you can edit the data collected before submitting the application.
