TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking information on how to extend their tourist visa in Thailand, which is valid until October 27th, after changing their travel plans. Concerns arise about potentially receiving only a two-week extension after a trip to Cambodia, but comments suggest that they can apply for a 30-day extension at an immigration office or a 60-day family visit extension based on marriage to a Thai national. The responses clarify that a visa run is an option but may not be necessary.

and we're done. This is a thai visa advice group NOT a how much is it to stay in cambodia one :O

You have a choice of border bouncing to get a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp, OR buying a 30 day extension at the immigration office.

Good Luck (y)

Seeing that you're living in Bangkok with your Thai wife, you can apply for the 60 day Extension of Stay for family visit for 1.900 Thb at the Immigration Office. You need copy id passport, copy id and housebook wife, passport picture, copy marriage certificate and the wife has to join you. Better option is to get the Non Immigrant O visa based on marriage with a Thai National.

no I've never done a land crossing came Thailand in July for 4 days then went back uk then came back September to Thailand but not left country be my first time this time so I just enter Cambodia then if spend one night there when come back should get 30 day
Robert *******
Uk is on the list, so you can get twice a calendar year the Visa Exempt Entry if you enter Thailand by land border. If you go before 31 Oct to Cambodia and you come back without buying a new visa you will get 30 days of stay, unless you already did two land border crossings between1 Jan 2018 and today.

Robert *******
BTW, if you like to make a land border run for a Visa Exempt stamp, the rules changed on 31 Dec 2016 and is now for these countries only allowed twice a year and 30 days:

Robert *******
Yes, copy id passport, copy visa page and admitted until stamp, departure card, 1 passport picture and the application form plus 1.900 Thb. If I count correctly the new date will be 30 Nov.

Only did family wedding no papers mate or would of done that

You can ask 30 days extension at immigration office. No need to go out the country.
Robert *******
You arrived on the 1sts or the 2nd, your visa may be valid, means you have to use this visa before 27 Oct. On arrival the Immigration Officer put a square stamp in your passport with the text Admitted until ../../... What is that date?
