Time to ask again for some advice, last year around october I applied in the hague for a dtv after getting rejected I travelled on a tourist visum and went back in december to the Netherlands, thereafter I applied for the METV and it got accepted.
Now in march I tried in Hanoi to get a DTV (softpower house of taste 6 month course) again rejected. My documents were checked and should be in order I used templates of people in this group.
Now I feel a bit hesitant to try one last time in Laos. What do you guys advise to do, both were rejected not cancelled all the documents were in order. Translated stamped etc.
Best regards,
A

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has faced two rejections for a Thai DTV visa application and seeks advice on whether to try again in Laos after being rejected in Hanoi. The comments suggest checking personal documents and visa history, warning against reapplying immediately after rejections, and questioning the suitability of a cookery course as a basis for the DTV application. It's recommended to gather more information from the embassy and consider different options.
A cookery course is probably the weakest DTV route to be honest. They want to be certain you are bringing in reliable foreign income or a healthy bank account
Check your visa history records and personal documents, including your source of income and bank statements. Once rejected, it is very hard to reapply again. Hanoi is not the best location to reapply.
If you got METV must wait till it's fully used and expired, any try before just losing money and time.
It was an answer based on our experience with the specific Thai Embassy in Hanoi.
If you would like to verify anything, please share your e-visa file publicly with all personal information blurred, so others can see a real example. Without a real name or proof, the information may not be entirely reliable. If you got approved not from Hanoi Thai Embassy under current visa not finally used and expired it's fine and sometimes for some locations it's more highly likely possible. Thank you
Hi, if you got rejected twice that really signifies there is something about you they don’t want to accept and not really about where and what you’re using for the visa
So you might not want to keep trying again and wasting a lot of money
It gets rejected and you must make a new application and pay a new fee. Assumptions are useless. Why dont you try doing a search in this group and you will see many examples oh because your lazy and its easier to make assumptions
why is it about the person as per previous applications rejected it may be a typo people have been rejected because a number or letter was type in wrong. Bad advise is better kept to yourself dont reply for the sake of writing let people with actual experience answer your just complicating the issue
Anonymous participant 744 - if it was a typo or an error in the data provided, it wouldn’t be rejected, but would be canceled. They use the classification of cancel and rejection for different purposes
Anonymous participant 744 hi you should keep quiet. You made too many assumptions.
If the applicant made spelling errors or whatever errors like that, himself two times in a row, then OK that is the issue.
I am going under the assumption that he didn’t make these errors or spell his name wrong whatever, .. so in that case if we assume that, I have heard that there is something about the applicant they don’t like
I don’t know him you don’t know him
Could be something on his record
Or not, it could just be something they don’t trust
Again, keep quiet and don’t tell other people what to do
advice should not be based on opinion here. This is serious it is costing this person time money and reputation. Please factual evidence based suggestions for any visa issue
If you get rejected the first time, it’s still okay to apply again in Vientiane, Laos. But if it’s a second rejection, it’s not really sure — need to check how long ago that second rejection was.
