TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian passport holder initially entering Thailand with a Tourist Visa (TV) can extend their visa for an additional 30 days after the initial 60 days. However, obtaining another 30-day extension after that is typically not possible. While there is no technical limit to the number of Tourist Visas you can apply for consecutively, repeated back-to-back applications may lead to scrutiny from immigration, potentially resulting in denial of entry if they suspect abuse of the system.
No technical limit on the number of TRs you can get, but if you’re applying back to back then the consulate can refuse or immigration deny entry if they think you’re trying to buck the system.
Tourist Visa is 60 days plus a further 30 days at immigration. You can border bounce and get a 45 day visa exempt plus extendable a further 30 days OR do a visa run and get another 60+30 tourist visa
