What options do I have for extending my visa in Thailand with an Australian passport?

An Australian passport holder initially entering Thailand with a Tourist Visa (TV) can extend their visa for an additional 30 days after the initial 60 days. However, obtaining another 30-day extension after that is typically not possible. While there is no technical limit to the number of Tourist Visas you can apply for consecutively, repeated back-to-back applications may lead to scrutiny from immigration, potentially resulting in denial of entry if they suspect abuse of the system.
