Do I need to file a 90-day report if I recently applied for a 60-day extension in Thailand?

Question about 90 Day Report:

I have stapled in my passport to do a 90-day report on December 11 2020. However, I just filed for a new 60-day extension with a completed TM7 which brings me to think that I don't need to do it.

Am I correct that I do not have to do an additional 90-day report because of my recent extension?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether they need to file a 90-day report after applying for a 60-day extension in Thailand. The responses clarify that the user must still complete the 90-day report since it is required every 90 days regardless of visa changes or extensions. Discussions also cover filing procedures in Bangkok versus Hua Hin and note that there is a grace period of 7 days after the due date for filing the report without a fine.

hang about, IF you have a paper like this in your passport it means you cannot use the online system, you have to file ONE report in person.

Definitely go back and get the "loop closed" in bangkok when it says to. Then you could go back to your place in Hua Hin file a TM30 showing you live there now and then use the immgiration office therefrom now on.

sorry, that was confusing. I made an appointment for my extension at CW. Last time I didn’t know we could and spent 10 hours of my day.

I’ll plan to do my 90 day at Hua Hin on the 11. I’m no longer staying in BKK.

I moved from BKK this week to Hua Hin after filing for my extension, I find myself headed to BKk to close the loop and hoping it goes alright with that.

Do you suggest that since I’m now staying in Hua Hin I file my 90 day here or in BKK while I’m there?

I didn’t count on closing the loop before making my booking 🤦🏼‍♀️

when does the under consideration stamp come up? You could have already filed a 90 day report here in Bangkok since Nov 27th

ahh, I see,
@Mic****
you're comin' up here to get the "loop closed" then going back down to where you live in Hua Hin.

Yep, you can file down there, at either BluPort Mall immigration location OR the main immigration office there.

and when you do it online, and insert under "date of end of permitted stay" the date when your extension is finished, your next 90-day report will be on that date, regardless if it is 90 days from now or only 30 days or 18 days

90 days report should be done no matter visa change or so... if u leave the country and enter again then 90 days restarts from entry day.
Robert *******
The report has to be done because you are 90 days inside the Kingdom.

You keep on doing this every 90 days, until the moment you leave Thailand and when you come back, you start counting again as day of arrival as day 1.

Thank you. I hope I can easily do this online as I've seen a lot do in this group

I think you need to have done one in person previously in order to do it online. The first time requires attendance in person. I believe anyway
