DTV with thaï cooking school - from France 🇫🇷

Hi everybody,

I have a new question regarding "Document indicating current location".

As I plan to stay at my parents house while applying for the DTV, what can I show to prove the current location ?

Thanks again for your help 🙏

Answer summary

When applying for a DTV visa while staying at your parents' house in France, you can use documents such as recent phone or credit card bills showing your address and date, or photos of yourself with transportation tickets that indicate your location and date. These documents will help confirm your current location in France.

I put my address at my grandmother's and I changed the address on my free mobile bill. It's OK, I've checked with the Paris embassy.

I also took my plane ticket because when you make a request, at the end they ask for it... when I called them on Tuesday, the person told me that we weren't even obliged, putting a flight number corresponding to the journey you were going to make was enough.

thanks again for advice

I've tried to submit online as a test 🙂

by the way "supporting documents" is the last step ? I shouldn't click "Done" until I'm sure I submit for real ?

So everything I'm telling you comes from my contacts with immigration in order to apply for the visa... I will confirm all this informations... when I have obtained or not my visa... I'm applying for it in 3 weeks so in June I will know if it's the right approach or not and I will get back to you.

yeah, go to the immigration website and apply, put all your documents, it will allow you to see how the process works. you will see, the documents must not exceed a certain size, etc.... and you do not finish the application and then you delete your application. that way you can do as many as you want without validating them, while your file is perfect... and yes at the end it asks you for the flight and accommodation but no need for a reservation, just the dates and the flight number, personally I booked them because I am sure to go on vacation if I do not have the DTV :.. 😅

The plane ticket doesn't appear on the official list, but it's required when applying online ?

I asked them by email a few months ago and I called them on Tuesday to make sure it hadn't changed, and it's still ok

- Your phone bills or credit card bills showing the date you use & the location is in france

- picture of you with metro or train ticket with date on it

They just want to be sure you are in France when you apply
