Pending approval just means it got past the pending document check stage. On my first application attempt, mine also went through the same stages and then it was cancelled.

Anonymous participant 134 yes I applied again the day after the cancel, and then it was approved. The first time took 21 calendar days until the decision. The second time was shorter than that

I did the same — emailed early this morning, and now it shows ‘pending approval.’ It’s probably a good sign, and the email might have helped. Still, the status can change back to ‘document check,’ ‘rejection,’ or ‘approval,’ so don’t over-interpret it — the real confirmation is the approval email.Good luck to both of us.
