Will my DTV dependent application be affected by the new visa changes if submitted before them?
Hey everyone,
Just looking for any info to give me some peace of mind, my dtv dependant application was submitted August 24th, changed from document check to pending approval August 25th, I am currently in Hanoi will I be safe from the new changes?
Also has anyone that submitted around the same time had the visa approved yet? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks😊

if it was me I'd try to contact directly as they are going against their statement that applications before 31st will be assessed with the old restrictionsRichard ******

My application was 14 days in the 'Pending Approval' status, in Hanoi. Approved just over a week ago. Good luck! 🙏🏻

I applied last week in Hanoi for my daughter as a dependent and it was approved in one working day

If you submitted before the change, you wont be affected by it, this has been confirmed by the embassies. I am also waiting in Hanoi, applied for a workcation DTV on the 28th and no changes so far. The wait is gonna kill me. Please let me know if you get any updates 🙏🏻🥰

DTV_BegPecker Sure! Please read the last paragraph. This is for example the Thai Embassy from Laos but they all did announce the same thing.
