TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks guidance on extending their current 60-day tourist visa in Chiang Mai, which expires on October 5, as they wish to stay until October 22. They inquire about the necessary documents, fees, and the process involved, feeling overwhelmed by the available information. Commenters suggest bringing the following documents: passport, passport photos, copies of the ID page, visa page, entry stamp, and filling out the TM7 form. The fee for the extension is noted as 1900 Baht, and additional comments mention the TM30 form may also be required. Users share personal experiences regarding the time taken for the extension process.
Sorry as a follow up, I am actually at promenada Now doing mine. Arrived 10.15 and literally just done at 11.06. There is a place here that does photocopies and photos.

To get an extension of stay you need to bring your passport, a passport picture, a copy of your ID page of your passport + of your visa + entry stamp. You also need to fill in a form (TM7, which you can get at the immigration). The fee is 1900 Baht. It will take some time depending on the queue at the immigration office.
It should link to the TM7 that was uploaded to the files here, but it seems like it wonβt work. I deleted it.

So you came into Thailand with the 30 day Visa Exempt Entry (Not a Visa), then got a Single Entry Tourist Visa and got stamped in for 60 days. You can apply at Immigration Office in Chang Mai from 45 days prior, till the Admitted Until date in your passport. Going early is no problem as the 30 day Extension is added on your Admitted Until date.
