Hi everyone - I searched for the answer to this but could not find it. What do I need, besides 1900 baht each, to extend my current 45-day visa for another 30 days. I thought I would get it done early in Krabi Town. Help please. I know the offices are closed Wednesday-Friday this week.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a current 45-day visa in Thailand for another 30 days, you will need to provide several documents along with the 1,900 baht fee. The required documents include a completed TM7 application form (which can be obtained at the local immigration office), a signed copy of your passport's photo page, a signed copy of your entry stamp, one passport-sized photo, and potentially a filed TM30 form, which serves as proof of your address and is usually completed by the hotel where you are staying.

thanks everyone - I am assuming I can get the TM7 there. The TM30 is proof of where we are and done by the hotel right?

yes you can get the forms in the office.

Your hotel must by law register your arrival. Most do. Some don’t. Whether they’ll easily give you a screenshot of their filing is a different story.

For 30 days extension to a tourist visa or visa exempt entry:-

TM7 (application form) There is no space on the form for them but they want you to write your email and phone number on it anyway.

Copy passport photo page (signed)

Copy entry stamp (signed)

One passport sized photo

1,900 baht

Your local office may require a filed TM30 in order for you to get the extension

Actually not sure of the Krabi office whether they need the TM30 or not.

Offices around Bangkok area are closed for the times you mentioned but other offices around the country will be open

Krabi immigration doesn't ask for a TM 30. No copies neither, they type everything directly into the computer and will even take a passport photo for additional 100 THB if you want.

Probably one of the most efficient places to apply for your extension fast track.

friends had it done in Krabi 2 months ago with no TM30. Never know if it changes though..
