What documents do I need for a 30-day visa extension in Thailand?

To extend your stay for an additional 30 days in Thailand, you need to bring several documents to immigration: a filled out TM7 application form with a passport-sized photo attached, copies of the data page of your passport, your current visa (if applicable), your entry stamp, and your TM6 departure card. Additionally, depending on the immigration office, you may also need proof that a TM30 notification of alien in residence has been filed by you or your landlord. The fee for the extension is 1900 baht.
