Hello, I’m here with 30 day on arrival, US passport. Just want to clarify, I need to go to MTT to get my 30 day extension correct? I believe I have all the the required documents except the TM30. I tried asking the hotel staff and I received a printout of all guests staying here with their passport numbers and TM 6 number. I get the feeling that’s not what I’m needing. 🙃 It should be filed, it’s a large chain. Are they able to lookup the TM30 info at MTT or is this a must-have in printed out form? I’d rather not make two trips. Thank you. 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the process of extending their 30-day visa in Thailand. They understand they need to visit the MTT for this extension but are unsure about the necessity of having a TM30 form, which they believe is missing from their documents. The response advises that bringing a printout of the guest list from the hotel may suffice and highlights that the TM30 receipt is not often requested in Bangkok.

Right, you are going to go to MTT to apply for 30days tourism extension. If you get the list from the hotel as a photo, it would be sufficient.

Bring the printout of the list you got from the hotel (even if it's not one of the formats in the picture) and get the tel number with that you can contact PIC in case.

Anyway, you are not often asked for a TM30 receipt for 30days tourism extension in Bangkok.
