What documents do I need to extend my 30-day tourist visa exemption in Phuket?

Hello everyone! I’m in Phuket on a 30-day tourist visa exemption and I want to extend my stay here. If it’s not too much trouble, would it be possible to list the documents I need for

the immigration office? I’ve looked online but I just want to be sure I have all necessary documents 😅

For example: do I need my landlord to fill in a TM30 document or will a screenshot of my airbnb payment do?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster (OP) is seeking to extend their 30-day tourist visa exemption in Phuket and is asking for clarification on the necessary documents for the immigration office. Key points from the discussion indicate that a TM30 document is generally required, though experiences with specific immigration officers may vary. A screenshot of an Airbnb payment does not fulfill the TM30 requirement. It's also suggested that having a TM30 document on hand is prudent. Additionally, due to upcoming policy changes, there may be increased foot traffic at immigration offices.

TM30 was not asked for two days ago in the main office in Phuket town for a 30 day extension. However, as
@T**
mentioned, that does depend on the officer you present yourself to. Best to have one and it not be asked for than to not have one and be asked for it. Also, seeing as the current Covid extension scheme is due to end on Monday, it’s going to be BUSY at any office you go to today, and Monday.

Hi! We went to the main office in Phuket and we got our 30-day extension, they didn’t ask for a TM30 file ☺️ We were in and out within 1,5h 🙌

a screen shot that you paid for your place is NOT a TM30 receipt 🙁

AND whether you need a TM30 receipt or not will totally depend on the officer you're standing in front of when you apply for the extension.

You have 3 offices in Phuket you can go to, the main office, the one in Patong, or the one in Blue Tree.

I don't think departure cards exist anymore?

When arriving early July, for the first time in 20 years in Thailand, there was no entry card to fill out - the entry card and departure card always used to be one form.

So I am assuming departure cards are a thing of the past. Everyone's in the system anyway.

right I found that out a bit later. Correct. This being the government there’s no saying if it will come back or not.

I always wonder what they do with these things

Are they all in a giant warehouse with little paper snippets? Do they get scanned and burned for energy?
