What details are required for the DTV visa application if I want to work remotely in Thailand?

Question regarding the DTV visa.

I have checked the application and you have to indicate the entrance day and end day, the flight number and the place where you are staying.

The problem is that I need the visa to request to my company to work remotely there, so I do not want to expend more money with the flights and hotel reservation, just in case my company deny my request to work from there.

Do you think they will reject it if I do not provide those details?

Is there an email to ask the embasy?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa application requires specific details such as your entry and exit dates, flight number, and accommodation information. For someone looking to work remotely, it may be unwise to commit to flights and hotel bookings before securing company approval. Questions regarding the necessity of providing detailed travel plans should be directed to the specific Thai embassy handling your application, as regulations may vary. One suggestion includes using services like onwardticket.com for temporary flight bookings that can be canceled.

You could use onwardticket.com - for 15$ they will book a real ticket for you and cancel it 48 hours later. It's perfect for return flight tickets to show immigration when you enter the country. I am not exactly sure if it would work for you in this instance as the 48 hours window may be too short for your use case, but you never know.

These are questions you need to ask the Thai Embassy that you will submit your application to. Like everything else that is Thai they all make up their own rules.

You must already have permission to work remotely in order to apply. That's been stated from multiple embassies. You must show your employment contract along with permission to work in Thailand as part of the application.

I need permission from my company to get the DTV visa and I need the DTV visa to get permission from my company.

if that's really your dilemma, try for the soft power option. You'll get the visa to show your company.

I will try to get the permission from my company first, maybe adding the condition that if Thailand reject the DTV visa, my company can reject the permit.

Can you get a letter from your work that states you are allowed to work remotely, not specifically stating Thailand? This is somewhat the same issue I am facing though.

I currently work remotely, within my country, will that work?

From a few people that have already gotten the DTV, what I've seen is that they require something from your company that specifically says you have permission to not only work remote, but that you specifically have permission to work remote in Thailand. But that will be up to each individual embassy to evaluate.

No one can answer what will and won’t work until you apply. Each embassy has interpreted the requirements differently.
