I've got a 2month tourist visa (the kind that you have to make before entering the country), i want to extends it. A few question as to where to get it done and if it needs TM30. (I'll be apply the extension in case of tourism).

Edit: im confuse about where exactly to go im staying at sathorn, some suggest to go the same division as the staying province and some to IT square.

Edit: had to go to the gov complex to be consistent with TM30, got 30day extented now. Booking prior and having thai speaker sort this out well within 30min.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your 2-month tourist visa in Thailand, you must go to the local immigration office specific to the province you're staying in, which for Sathorn would likely be the Chaengwatnna Immigration office. Be prepared to present a TM30 form, which can often be printed by your hotel. Furthermore, bring photocopies of your passport (including the tourist visa and entry page), a recent photo, and fill out the required forms. The extension fee is approximately 1900 baht. Some users noted that IT Plaza is not suitable for this type of extension, as they were directed to the correct immigration office after a visit.

Hello, if you come in with 2 months visa, and if you want to extend another month, you need to go chaengwatnna immigration and not IT plaza Laksi. You need to print out Tm30, you can ask hotel print out for you. Not to forget to photocopy your tourist visa and entry page, passport front page, 1 photo and fill up 3 forms at immigration and finally 1900 baht. I just got extend few days ago. I went to IT plaza and they ask me go Chaengwatanna because I came in as 2 months tourist visa. Hope this info help you. Have a nice day.

P/s you can check in any hotel in bkk as long as they have and can provide Tm30. Some hotels don't.

the province where your TM30 is filed.

You'll get it done at the local immigration office based on the province you're staying in.

Most offices require a TM30.
