Hi everyone!

Me and my friend has a tourist-visa for three months. But we are planning to stay three more extra months here in Thailand. Do you have any suggestions on what to do?

Is a Non-Immigrant Visa the best alternative? And show that we study Thai? In that case, how that application work? Thaaaaaanks for your help 🙏💖🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to extend their stay in Thailand for an additional three months after their current tourist visa expires. Community members suggest alternatives including applying for another tourist visa through a Thai consulate in Laos or enrolling in a language school to apply for a Non-Immigrant Visa for studying Thai. Each method includes specific steps, such as leaving Thailand, applying for a new visa, and necessary documentation.

What
@Robert ******
says! Easiest way is to go to Vientiane in Laos and get another turist visa and then extend it at immigration. If you want to stay that long another time, better to get a multi entry turist visa from Sweden before you go to Thailand ;)

The easiest way to stay another 90 days is to leave Thailand, apply in the morning for a new Single Entry Tourist Visa at a Thai Consulate, pick it up the next working day in the afternoon and make your way back into Thailand and get 60 days of stay and apply for a 30 day Extension of Stay at local Immigration and you free to do what you like. More difficult way is to enlist at a language school, pay for college, wait till they have all their documents together, could take around 1 month, than go to a Thai Consulate apply for the visa in the morning, pick it up the next working day in the afternoon and make your way back into Thailand and get 90 days.

Prepare yourself with these documents if you go to Yangon

No, as consulates are representatives of a government of one state in the territory of another state. Simply said you only find Thai Consulates outside Thailand.
