Hey guys! So I’ve been on a student visa which runs out end of this month. I wanted to find out what is required and what is the process to get the 60 COVID visa? Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a 60-day COVID visa in Thailand after your student visa expires, you need to gather specific documentation. Start by getting a cancellation of your current visa/extension from the immigration office. You will need your passport, a copy of your data page, recent visa/stamp copies, departure card copy, and, depending on the immigration office, possibly a TM30 form and a letter from your embassy. Two passport photos and a payment of 1,900 THB are also required. Note that requirements can vary by immigration office.

Or as you are working, maybe you could get an extension based on employment?
Assuming you're on an extension of stay, you'll need the following documents to apply for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19:
Different immigration offices have different requirements, but all require the following:
1. Your passport and:
a. a copy of your data ("picture") page
b. a copy of your most recent visa (if you have one)
c. a copy of your most recent stamp
d. a copy of your departure card
2. [May not be needed for Bangkok Immigration] A TM30, filed in the immigration office.
3. The forms (each immigration office may have different forms, and want to use their special forms). For Bangkok Immigration, the forms are located in the files section of the group.
4. [Not needed for Bangkok Immigration] A letter from your embassy saying you can not return, OR a print out from your embassy website saying they don’t issue the letters, OR a print out of a letter from the embassy saying they don't issue those letters.
5. 2x passport pictures
6. 1,900 THB.
Different immigration offices have different policies. *SOME* may require:
- The ID card of the property owner where you are staying
- Copies of *ALL* stamped pages in your passport

You get documentation from your school saying you stop studying on xxx date (usually the last day your current extension runs out) you go to the immigration office where you got that extension issued, cancel it and immediately apply for a covid extension for 1900baht by providing the documentation that office requires 🙂 That's how it's done.
