I am about to apply for non O-A, just waiting for the last document. As I want to fly out of Sweden in November. Anytime in November actually, sooner better, I would like to apply for CoE at the same time. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Another question is about flights. I have been struggling to get refunds this year, and finally I have, so buying a new ticket is with mixed feelings. From what I understand, airlines like Qatar, are allowed to fly from Stockholm, Doha, Bangkok at this time. Also unlimited rebooking for free. Because I do need a ticket for the application, right?? For the OA and CoE.
So, the question: Do you know if the planes actually take off or just smoke screens like the rest of 2020. AND from handing in the application do you think 2 weeks is enough to handle both applications?
I try to get in touch with embassy, but almost impossible. I have given up on STV as the Thai Longstay Company is not answering any e-mail, phone or text messages anymore.
Any advice, please?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for a Non O-A visa and the Certificate of Entry (CoE) while planning to fly from Sweden to Thailand in November. They are seeking advice on the application process for both the visa and CoE, and if two weeks is sufficient to handle both applications. Additionally, there are concerns about the reliability of flights amidst ongoing travel restrictions. Responses indicate that several airlines are currently operating flights to Bangkok and suggest checking with the embassy for the correct application procedures, such as whether to secure the visa or CoE first.
