Hi all I am trying to deal with a new non o from the London Embassy and then to apply for my COE , the e visa section will not allow the option for non o no matter how many times I try . So if anyone has successfully completed this I would love some advise . I have had many Non Os over the last 20 yrs , I have all other relevant papers etc just have to book my quarantine ASQ hotel etc then send that hard copy to the embassy as requested but this is the question will they attach the Non o at the same time Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on applying for a new Non-O visa from the London Embassy and the process of obtaining a Certificate of Entry (COE) for travel to Thailand, mentioning difficulties with the e-visa system and requirements for ASQ hotel bookings. Several community members offer advice about the visa application process, including compatibility issues with devices, the timeline for booking flights, and the need to apply for the COE simultaneously with the visa application. They also discuss the current limitations on visa grants and potential extensions once in Thailand.

You can only get a 90 day at the moment all embassies are the same and they will only allow you to get the visa once you hsve COE approved i just did it. They checked snd keot paperwork for visa when i submitted COE application.

When that was approved i went and paid for visa and took twenty minutes to issue

@Michael *******
that’s great news. Thank you. Do you use visa agent or do it yourself? Do we have to submit the same documents that we did with the Thai Embassy in London? Thanks.

ha ha. cost too much to leave Thailand now. I got visa till 9 Nov. Did immigration give u a stamp in passport with the date of how long you can stay in Thailand for?
Michael ********
@Pun ****
yes till end october. I think they know they need yo change the old 90 days in and out thing now in these times. I suspect dome tweaking of how visas are done will (should) happen

@Michael *******
yes. Let’s hope so. It’ll be a nightmare to go back to the uk to get another visa and go through the process again.

It will be a single entry 90 day Non Imm O visa, London stopped issuing the 1 year multi entry O.

@Stuey *****
They said ?

I told you this 😂

You might need to try a different email address. When I used my hotmail, it gave me only one option for my non B (the wrong one of course!)... when I tried with gmail, it gave me the full list of options!
Andrew *******
Are you using an Apple phone?

Their e visa system is not compatible, try another device with windows.

Do not book ASQ.

You should book on a repat flight with the London embassy, then you book ASQ followed by visa app.

When apply for visa you can apply for COE at the same time as the ASQ info and flight details are added on to the COE and cannot be altered.

You will send any hard copies they require with your passport such as insurance.

Once you have booked your seat on repat flight the embassy will assist you more.

The flights for September will be available sometime this month.
