TLDR : Answer Summary
A person flying from China to Thailand is anxious as they have not yet received their Certificate of Entry (COE), despite their flight being scheduled soon and their application submitted through an agent. The conversation reveals various experiences of users regarding COE processing times, the importance of contacting the embassy or consulate directly for follow-up, and potential issues with documentation submitted through agents. Many suggest checking the official COE website and obtaining tracking information from the agent to clarify the situation.

Will I need to upload the results to my PCR test the day before my departure? Now that I think about it , I didn’t receive an email.. I think I might have clicked the exit button on the right rather than the confirm button on the left 🤦🏻‍♂️ I’m used to hitting the right button to send things

no the departure PCR test doesnt need to be uploaded needs to be printed and shown to airport check in and immigration. Hotel will need a copy. PCR i was talking about is the ones you pre book for Phuket

thank you. Oh, I was so confused. I won’t be going to Phuket. Landing in BKK.

though, an agent I was speaking with did say they don’t issue the COE until 48-72 hours before departure

@Bam ****

make sure you click this icon when uploading your docs..

If you got your first approval already, and it is past 3 days from giving all the docs, you can follow up from consulate/embassy for the last approval. We did it and got our COE in the morning of scheduled flight (we had evening flight).

Ask the agent for the login details so you can check yourself. Assuming they exist... 😬

check on the website; they might ask you for additional documents to be able to issue your coe

Not sure why you would use an agent for such a simple process. Very difficult for you to check in this since you're not the one who submitted it now. Seems like your left your fate to your agent and it's all on them now. Normally you could try to contact the relevant embassy or consulate doing the approval though.

CoE's are NOT issued by Thai Embassys or Consulates

completely false. When you select the country you're coming from, that routes your COE to that embassy. They are the ones that check the local things like vaccine proof and insurance and such. And they can assist with issues and expedite.

from our experience,embassy cant do anything about the first approval as it is coming from Thailand, but for the second, they can give assistance.
