For Immigration,extention,fines,rules and regulations?

I ve been told that children follow their parents extention and they do not pay a fine for overstay...but possibly they can get a red stamp on their departure...

In the current situation we will go tomorrow to visit immigration officers but I am worried of what might happen!

TLDR : Answer Summary
This post discusses the immigration rules and regulations for EU passport holding children, specifically regarding visa extensions and fines for overstaying in Thailand. It highlights that children under 15 cannot be fined for overstaying, but they still require a visa or extension. Concerns about the red stamp on departure are mentioned, and the author is seeking advice before visiting immigration.

Children wouldn't be fined for overstay, doesn't mean they don't have to get visa or extension. They, children, would get overstay stamp on departure or apply extension same to adults. Just they don't have to pay the fine...

Every foreigner inside Thailand need to follow the visa rules and regulations. Even children.

But by Thai law children until 15 years of age can not be fined, that is why many parents choose the option of overstay to save the 1.900 thb a year for an Extension of Stay for their child.
