KIDS UNDER 15 NO NEED EXTENSIONS?

Hi again people,

Now I have heard from various people that there’s no use to make any extensions for kids under 15 years old because they dont get fine for overstay. Have anyone had the experience before?

Have a nice day🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
Kids under 15 years old do not incur fines for overstaying their visas in Thailand, but they do receive an overstay stamp in their passport upon departure. This stamp may affect their future visa extensions, especially if they plan to attend school in Thailand. Therefore, it is advisable to keep them legal and avoid the overstay stamp if possible.

Children under the age of 15 are not charged a fine for overstaying but still get overstay stamps when they leave the country.

Yes thank you everyone, it makes sense not to get the stamp. However, I am in process to make her a Thai passport so I dont think it will effect her later.

Correct. No fine or ban. They do however get an overstay stamp in their passport which could affect future extensions especially if they will be going to school in Thailand. Better to keep them legal if possible.
