What are the options for extending a Non-B visa in Bangkok?

Hi, I am in need of visa extension advice. I came to Bangkok with a Non-B single entry visa and it expires next month. I was told, I can either go for a Visa run to Laos or do the extension here. Is anyone familiar with doing the extension in Bangkok? Any agencies that can help with that? Thank you!

They mention the option of doing a visa run to Laos but are particularly interested in details about extending the visa within Thailand. Your employer sounds bad if they are just leaving you to figure tris out on your own. Are you still employed?

You go to the Immigration office with the documents provided by your employer and you can ask there for the 1 year Extension of Stay based on employment. Your employer should now which documents needed. Alternative: Ask your employer to provide the needed documents to apply for a new Single Entry Non Immigrant B visa at a consulate or embassy.
