Hello, my 90days non immigration visa B will expire soon, I have a work permit here in Thailand. Last time my company made me to travel to Laos and do my new non immigrantion visa B in Vientiane, Laos.

On the immigration in Laos they told me I can’t do it there and that if I have a work permit I can do it ONLY in Bangkok, they gave it to me but said I was “very lucky and next time I need to do it in Bangkok”.

It’s 3 months from that and my company wants me to go to Laos again even that they told me in Laos last time I can’t do it there and I need to do it only in Bangkok.

Are there any ways or can someone please help me with HOW I CAN DO MY NEW VISA or how I can extend my non immigrant visa B without leaving Thailand?

And if so, where I can do it and how?

I would appreciate any help, thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on how to extend their 90-day Non-Immigrant Visa B without leaving Thailand, despite being informed they should only apply for a renewal in Bangkok. They mention difficulties with the required documents from their employer, leading to suggestions from comments about possibly applying for an extension or finding another consulate for a visa renewal.

I have same problem too, first 3month non b visa expired and went back to Kuala lumpur and reapply for 2nd. They warn that I should do extension but my company fail to provide the required documents.

Or have your company HR staff (or Thai staff) to call and check if some other consulate would issue 2nd or 3rd Non-B single. Such as Kota Bharu, Malaysia or Yangon, Myanmar, etc.

If your company doesn't want to (or more likely can't) provide the documents for an extesnion of stay, then you should find another job.

If you can't get a extension of stay now due to problems with your employer providing the documents I suggest you try Panang(Malaysia) or Hanoi for a new 90 day B visa.

That might be, have no idea

Would it be a solution if I will make the 1 year non bussiness visa instead? Is it possible to do it if I had only 90days visa before?

Laos consulates won’t entertain back to back non-b applications even with a WP,they began cracking down on this over a year ago

Problem is that many companies can not provide the documents needed for this Extension of Stay. Therefor they sent foreign staff abroad to get a new visa, the Thai consulates in Laos wanted to see work permits if people applied for a second Non Immigrant B visa, i have no idea if they except back to back applications after that.

Thai consulate in Penang and Kuala Lumpur has recently denied applications with this information:

Or go to Kota Bahru in Malaysia or Yangon in Myanmar or other countries to get a new visa

Sit down with the company and let them solve their problems to meet the Immigration requirements.

Thank you, so do you have any idea what Am I supposted to do now? Thank you for your help!

You can apply for a 1 year Extension of Stay based on working at your local Immigration Office, but that need some documents of the company. Best is to visit the Immigration Office and ask for the hand out with requirements.
