Hi Folks, i haven't left TH since end of 2019 but now seems i will start business travels again soon. What's the deal with TM30 nowadays? Do i still have to report TM30 together with the Landlord at the immigration office every time i come back to TH? Also moving from Samut Prakan to BKK City soon not sure if that makes any difference.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 reporting requirements in Thailand require expats to report their address to the immigration office when they move to a new location. If an expat has not changed residences but is traveling for business, there may not be a need to file a TM30 upon returning to Thailand. For those moving within the country, such as from Samut Prakan to Bangkok, it's essential to report the new address within 24 hours. The use of the TM30 app is recommended for ease of reporting.

Just use the TM30 App. Takes about two minutes whilst you sit in a comfortable chair on your balcony

Depends on local imm off.

Bangkok and Buri Ram only need tm30 when you move to a new permanent address. When I return home from overseas or hotel I do not need to file tm30.

Check with your local office.

I never had to do a TM 30 at CW in 10 years living in bkk

as you move into a new place you have to report that within 24 hours, just ask directly how and when you have to report if you travel around due to business and come back to the same address.

TM27 is not applied to most foreigners.

Some offices are still using TM28 for applicants to submit changing of "permanent" address.

TM30 landlord fills out TM28 you do

@Ken *******
That totally depends on the immigration office if you need to submit TM28 or not.

I can report TM30 without the landlord?

@Ben **********
, You can do a self-report in Bangkok. For self-report, See this post from Tod Daniels. Seems to be a bit old, but it still works fine.
