Hi some information I would like to share. I always do my 90 day report online now. Ok I left Thailand on the 21st of August and returned Thailand on the 9th September. On arrival back I did not submit a TM30 at immigration as I returned to my same address. Today I done my 90 day report online 15 days prior to report date and within 40 minutes had it all approved 👍

TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat shared their experience of completing the online 90-day report after returning to Thailand without submitting a TM30 form, as they returned to the same address. Community comments highlighted that the need for a TM30 may vary by immigration office and discussed the differences in policies regarding 90-day reporting based on provincial rules.

Doing an online 90 day report gets “routed” to the local immigration office that would handle it the same as you did in person. Some offices have different rules and requirements. Some don’t care if you are returning from abroad to your same address, some don’t care if you’ve been out of the province. Some will if you have.
The new 90 day report system ties in with the new TM30 system so you will find that some are approved and some are rejected depending on the policy of the particular office that handles it.
As an example. In Phuket if you’ve had an extension from another province (almost always via an agent) or stayed in a hotel out of province you cannot use the 90 day online system. You must apply in person. I believe this is specific to Phuket so your mileage may differ in your province.
ok that's good to know. The one time we reported tm30 in person the girl said we never need to report again because we are owners. We'll be out of the country at NY so I'll have to remember that when returning, thanks.
