Has anyone extended a non-o visa based on marriage recently using only the income affidavit from the US Embassy? Curious as to whether I will be fine with just this as proof of income. Personal experience only please. I am very familiar with the rest of the requirements. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around extending a NON-O visa based on marriage and whether an income affidavit from the US Embassy suffices as proof of income. A user shared that a recent extension was successfully processed with just the income affidavit, while another highlighted the necessity of showing income tax documents for those with a work permit in Thailand.

As Tod mentioned above, with a valid work permit in TH you should be paying income tax and bring that last 3 months income tax paid form 19Bis when doing your extension of stay based on marriage.

@Mike *****
if you have copies of paid income taxes past year bring it down with your new work work permit with new company. No harm exhausting every options you may have.

Thanks for the reply. Problem is that this is my first month paying taxes with this company and I am hoping to do my extension before the end of this month. I paid income tax for 4 years working for a different company, but have not paid income tax in the last 2 months as I had not started the new job/WP.

Just had a guy do it two weeks ago, and it was accepted without any question.

Your case is different because you hold a valid work permit and legally work here and you just switched jobs too.

But they don't even know that I have a work permit unless I tell them that right?
