What are the current requirements and forms for extending a NON-O Visa at Chaeng Wattana in Thailand?

I soon have to extend my non-O visa based on being over 50 at Chaeng Wattana.

Last year I did this near 45 days in advance and with an embassy issued affidavit and had no problems, so much easier than the bank account route.

My question / want: I've seen Tod and others in the past give web links for a specific immigration office and the office's requirements for a specific visa / extension.

Could someone please give me the current link for Chaeng Wattana and non-O visa extension based on retirement and where to download the current forms, plus multi-entry?

I have looked on this group and looked on the web but find some conflicting information so the definitive info from the oracle would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking the current requirements and official links for extending their NON-O visa based on retirement at the Chaeng Wattana immigration office in Thailand. They mention previous successful experiences with the process and request confirmation on the advance application timeline (45 days) and specific forms needed, including TM.7 and TM.8, as well as guidance on a hand-drawn map requirement.

Thanks, Tod, and I can still apply for an extension up to 45 days in advance for chaeng wattana? Last year this is what I did but I've seen it sometimes stated as being only 30 days in advance.

yep Chiang Mai and Chaengwattana BOTH allow extensions when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp

you need the exact same documentation you used last year. You need to fill out a TM.7 application for extension and a TM.8 application for re-entry permit. BOTH of those forms are in the Files section on the right in this group. You want the fillable TM.7 and then the form TM.8

You will also need to draw a map of the neighborhood around where you live. Just the main roads, land marks etc, nothing fancy and it cannot be a google earth print out it has to be hand drawn.
