TLDR : Answer Summary
To renew your marriage visa in Thailand, you need to show 400,000 baht in a Thai bank account for at least 2 months prior to application. Additionally, you should prepare documents including your marriage certificate, TM30 form, house registration, and Thai ID card. It's best to verify requirements with your local immigration office in Chaiyaphum, as requirements may vary slightly by location. You can typically apply for the renewal within 30 days before your current visa expires.

Chaeng Wattana is 2 months for funds . Probably worth asking at your place .

this is your yearly extension and it runs out Feb 4th 2022 <- you can apply for a new extension when you have 30 days or less left on that stamp SO the soonest you could apply would be Jan 5th

As far as the seasoning of the funds it is not 90 days (no matter what the immigration office is telling you) ๐Ÿ˜• The 400K baht needs to be in a thai bank account in your name only 2 months before the date you APPLY for the next extension (not 2 months before your current stamp runs out)

thank you .. your response makes so much clearer .. I was just after the date to reapply .. and funds have to be 2 months prior .. thank you

this is your receipt of having done a 90 day report and tells you when your next 90 day report is due. It has nothing to do with getting another marriage extension at all and you don't show any proof of funds when you go do it

I think you are confusing 90 day reporting and renewing extension. Looking at the photos, your visa extension is valid until Feb 2022, and the other paper Nov 21 I think is your 90 day report date. You do not need to have 400k seasoned in a bank for 90 day reporting.

Most immi offices for 90 day reporting need original and copied of passport, stamps/visa, TM6, TM30, last 90 day report.

Are you staying in Chaiyaphum still? Best is you are going to Chiaphum (or your new local) immigration office just before you apply for a new yearly extension to get a handout for requirements. Most offices accept applications 30days in advance of your current "admitted until" date. So go there around new year to get one.

Some offices accept them 45days in advance. If you want to apply earlier, check with your local immigration office.

Just be aware that your fund seasoning period prior is from the date of your application, not the current "admitted until" date.

@Ellie ******
you mean 90 days prior to the until date on visa.. for the 400k in my account

If you apply in early January, while your extension is valid until the beginning of February, you need to put your funds into your account in early November at the late if the seasoning is two months, or early October if it's three months..

, the seasoning period is until the date that you (plan to) submit the application documents, not the date on your current extension stamp.

I think that the funds seasoning period would be two months prior as a general rule, but better check with your local immigration office.

Last year we submitted .. rose colored marriage certificate .. tor mor guarantor .. my yellow book .. Thai ID card do we have do get all the same paperwork .. or as it is continuation is it less please

I recommend sending in the same paperwork as last time. You are NOT "renewing" an extension of stay, but instead "acquiring" a new extension of stay.

What immigration office are you using?

I would say you'll need the same paperwork that you submitted for the prior year. Not many people use that immigration office.
