What should I do if my flight to Thailand is rescheduled and I have a Certificate of Entry?

Evening all,

Am in a bit of a pickle, had completed all paperwork and received CoE.

Was due to fly on 3rd, arrive 4th on visa exempt.

Gulf Air just phoned that flight is cancelled and brought forward a dat so fly on 2and arrive 3rd.

Sent message to embassy if I need a new COE but no response and dont expect one as its weekend over here.

As it's the only flight to BKK this week do I roll the dice and go as this is a short notice airline issue?

Just rushed through PCR to collect tomorrow before flight?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user faced a situation where their Gulf Air flight to Thailand was rescheduled, potentially causing issues with their existing Certificate of Entry (CoE). Community responses suggested the user should proceed with the flight as the change was due to airline issues. Some advised contacting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for urgent assistance regarding the CoE and provided tips on dealing with airport immigration issues. The user updated that they managed to board the flight but encountered scrutiny at immigration due to the date of their CoE, which was resolved by presenting proof of the flight change.

Your ASQ have you booked for the 4th so you might have to sleep at Airport

This happened to me, namely the embassy aren’t exactly prompt in dealing with urgent issues. You need to email the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as I flown from the UK I emailed:
****************************

The correct email that corresponds to your application will be at the bottom of the email where your CoE application was approved.

State it’s urgent, attach your new flight confirmation, current CoE and passport photo page for verification. Also, don’t forget to speak to your ASQ about moving flight times/dates first.

While many here would encourage you to take a risk, it is your responsibility to ensure your documentation is correct! My changes were made in the space of 10 mins after my email, so I wouldn’t worry about waiting a while for it.

got all the way thru right up to final immigration then some bird noticed the dates different. Had to stay in naughty boys room for 20 mins till I showed other flight cancellation and replacement flight ticket. Then they let me off, big relief, no in ASQ

cheers, just got through check in after kerfuffle over difference between visa on arrival and visa exemption. They looked at all the documents and didnt comment the CoE is tomorrow's date so just the Thais to deal with on other end now.
