Hi there, I need your advice. I live in condo in Thailand and I didn't make a TM30 registration. I asked immigration about a extension of stay many times for METV visa on immigration and I they never asked me about this. Now I got NonB visa and I will ask for extension for 1 year. What should I do the best? Fill and post TM30 form? Or let it be, because if they receive my registration they will ask me why I didn't make registration before.

Thanks for any advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether to file a TM30 registration, given they did not do so upon arriving in Thailand with a METV visa. They are now on a Non-B visa and are about to apply for a one-year extension. Responses suggest filing the TM30 before applying for the extension, as it may be required, and warn of a possible fine for late registration.

You WILL need a Tm30 receipt to get a year extension on a Non-B visa

I mean face it the worst that will happen is you get an 800baht fine for not filing when you came back in the country on your Non-B visa.

When I did my yearly extension (Non-B,) they checked my TM30 was in place.( Bangkok) but as someone might or will say " every province can be different"

You can file the address registration or do it before you apply for your Extension of Stay based on working, as youl live already longer than 24 hours on that address you will get fined for not reporting on time
