Simple question, I have a TM30 issued on the 4th Oct when I entered on 30day Visa exempt .I now have my non o visa 90 day, intending to apply for extension in January 11th 30 days before the non o expires. Should I do another TM30 +- 90 days from my first TM30

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry discusses whether a new TM30 form is necessary after transitioning from a 30-day Visa Exempt to a 90-day Non-O visa, with the intention of applying for an extension before the Non-O visa expires. A response clarifies that a new TM30 may not be needed if the residence conditions haven't changed, although local practices can vary. The discussion emphasizes the importance of adhering to reporting and filing guidelines based on individual circumstances and the specifics of immigration office policies.

That really depends on the office you use. Some don’t care as long as you haven’t left the country, some will require a new filing if you’ve stayed in a hotel out of province during those days which would “override” the address you used before. If you can file online then best to do so again before applying. You can also do manually at an immigration office but you’ll need the same copies of the paperwork you used initially to file.

You shouldn't need a new TM30 if nothing has changed. And your 90 day reports wont start until you get your 1-year extension and they staple the 90 day report paper into your passport giving you your first date to report. You have yet to be on a stay that allows you to be in Thailand for more than 90 days.
