TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, there is a multiple entry tourist visa for Thailand available to US citizens. This visa is valid for 6 months, allowing for multiple entries, with each stay lasting up to 60 days. Additionally, one extension of 30 days can be requested while in Thailand. However, not all consulates offer this visa, so it is advisable to check the specific requirements with the local Thai consulate, especially in Los Angeles for California residents.

You'll have to check the LA consulate since you're in that area.

There is a multiple entry tourist visa. It is valid for 6 months and on each entry you get 60 days. You can extend that entry once for a further 30 days in country.
Not all consulates sell these. You’d have to check your local consulate website for eligibility and requirements.
