Hey people ! I’m looking to secure the multiple entry visa for Thailand. I know on some visas you need to have booked a return flight - does anyone know if this is needed for multiple entry? It doesn’t specifically mention it but don’t want to come up against anything at the airport! Thanks in advance ✌🏼

TLDR : Answer Summary
The need for a return flight when applying for a multiple entry visa to Thailand can vary based on the embassy and location. Some embassies require proof of onward travel, while others might not. It is advisable to check the specific requirements on the embassy's website or to be prepared for potential requests for additional documents during the application process.
If you are in Thailand, you can get multiple entry re-entry permit good until then end of your current visa/extension of stay with no travel plans what so ever. Eveyone I know does that with no problem
When I applied for my METV in November, they requested proof of onward flight. You know, you fill out the application, wait a few days and they request additional documents. It may have been my bad luck or may be the policy.
It largely depends on where you are applying, usually on the embassy website you will have instructions, in Italy for example for a METV they require at least two confirmed entries (and exit) in Thailand.
