Hoping to travel to Thailand at the beginning of December this year with my husband and two 12 year girls.
Would love to stay for around 3 months.
Is that possible?
And how long does it take?
Thanks in advance 🫶

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen can travel to Thailand and stay for up to 90 days under the visa exemption rule. Upon arrival, they'll receive a 60-day stamp that can be extended for an additional 30 days at the immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht. It's recommended to check the stamp dates before leaving the immigration office and also keep in mind that airlines may ask for proof of onward travel. Some comments also mention the option of traveling to a nearby country to reset the visa exemption period. Additionally, considerations around schooling for children traveling as tourists have been raised.
As has allready been stated: no visa required, but your airline might ask to see a return/onward ticket within 60 days before they let you board. But you are on holiday, right? Book a ticket beforehand to a place outside Th, airfare is cheap here! F.ex fly to Siem Reap and spend a couple of days in a pool and exploring fantastic Angkor Wat. When you return from your holiday away from vacation you will receive another 60 days visa-excempt. Good luck!
Information on the RTE website includes visa exempt...

Just fly in, as you're on UK passports, you'll be "stamped in" on your passport for 60 days, NO Visa required. Then a few day before your stamp expires you'll all need to go to an immigration office where you'll pay 1900 baht each to be allowed to stay for an additional 30 days for a total of 90 days. You need to check the dates that are stamped in your passport BEFORE you move away from the Immigration officer, as they are human and sometimes make mistakes.
Nothing, uou'll get stamped in for 60 days then when you have less than 30 days remaining apply at Immigration for the 30 day extension for 1900B

What passport do you have as a UK citizen i would be entitled to 60 days visa exemption upon arrival and be able to extend that by 30 days. Many other countries also can do this but not all
