Extension of a Non-O visa in Chiang Mai. How many days or weeks can my letter from the bank confirming my status of the 800k before it is unacceptable by immigration?

I'm aware that my bank book needs to be updated within 24 hrs of my application.

TLDR : Answer Summary
For extending a Non-O visa in Chiang Mai, the bank letter confirming the status of the 800k should ideally be no more than 7 days old, provided that the bank book is updated within 24 hours of your application. However, there are suggestions that current rules may now require both the bank letter and bank book to be dated on the same day as the visa application.

For a while Chiang Mai was like Bangkok and you could have the bank letter be up to 7 days old as long as you updated the bank book the day you applied

BUT

I think they might have switched to bank letter and bank book done on the date you apply and I think they also have a crazy rule that the bank book and the bank letter have to match (although that could be another office I'm thinking of)
