ORIGINAL POSTERIt's that time again. Renewing my Non-Imm O Long Stay Visa next week. Mon and Wed are holidays so planning on getting Bank Letter (confirmation) on Tuesday and then going to Immigration on Thursday morning. Question: how long is the Bank Letter valid for? Thanks in advance! (googled it but couldn't find that detail)

The rules say that a bank letter is valid for 7 days. But we went to CM on the 7th day and were refused. They said that the letter expires ON the 7th day. ... so only valid for 6 days.

Because the letter issue date is day 1 same as other immigration things. So it's 7 days validity.
And some other offices set the validity 3 days, a few others set it only the day of application.

that might be the rule for your immigration office but at mine (Nonthaburi) the letter is only valid on the day. Different offices, Different rules.Rachel ******

News Flash; Monday (May 2) is labor day and NOT a government worker holiday just May 4th this coming week
Did you wanna mention which of the 70+ immigration offices in the country you might be using?
The validity of the bank letter varies office by office.
In Bangkok the bank letter is good for 7 days from the date it's issued.
Also IF you are using banked money method and don't have a fixed account you will need a year detail transaction print out and some banks take 5 days to get that for you (but some can print it on the spot)
The bank letter AND the year detail transaction print out look like this.

in that case, the bank letter good for 7 days from the date it's issued 🙂 Make an appointment for your extension on this website it'll go a LOT faster than just showing up and queuing with the zombie horde
