Hello, if I come to Thailand on a Non Immigrant O-A (long stay retirement visa) with single -entry, can I immediatly after entering the kingdom get a multiple-entry permission at the immigration ?
so that I can leave and reenter the kingdom any time during this 1 year period of validity ?
TLDR : Answer Summary
If you enter Thailand on a Non Immigrant O-A (long stay retirement) visa that is marked as single-entry, you can go to the immigration office after your arrival to apply for a multiple-entry permit. This permit allows you to leave and re-enter Thailand within the one-year validity of your visa. The cost for a single re-entry is 1,000 baht, while a multiple re-entry permit costs 3,800 baht. It is essential to verify the type of visa you have upon arrival, as the O-A visa is typically issued as multi-entry, but single-entry versions can occasionally be granted.
