Is it correct that a multiple-entry Non-Immigrant O-A visa allows for a one-year entry stamp in Thailand?

Good morning, all. I'm very curious about the following situation. My friend from the UK arrived in Thailand on 16 October 2018 at Suvarnabhumi airport with a multiple-entry non-immigrant O-A. He was stamped-in until 15 October 2019. I've never heard about getting an entry stamp for 1 year. Is this correct? Thanks for reading.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A multiple-entry Non-Immigrant O-A visa indeed allows for a one-year entry stamp in Thailand. Each time the holder enters Thailand, they receive a year-long entry stamp, but they must file a 90-day report if they stay for 90 consecutive days without leaving. Additionally, to maintain visa validity, a re-entry permit is required if they wish to leave and re-enter before the visa expires.

But he has to do a 90 day report if he’s in country for 90 days consecutively without exiting/reentering.

If he comes in just before the visa expires he gets another one year but not multiple entry. He have to get a re entry permit to keep it active.

Yes that is correct. Multiple entry. Every time he comes in he gets 1 year.
