Hi, would anyone know how long it takes to process a COE for the Thai embassy in London, I submitted it on Monday morning and I am starting to worry as I'm running out of time. It's kind of my fault for taking my time as I wasn't sure if i would go or not now they are on the red list.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The processing time for a Certificate of Entry (COE) from the Thai embassy in London can vary. Some users reported getting pre-approval within minutes to a few hours, with final approval taking between 2 to 12 days depending on individual circumstances. Key factors that influence processing time include the type of visa application and the completeness of the submitted documents. It's recommended to ensure all required documentation is in order to avoid delays.

If you are travelling on a visa exemption it takes longer. The people who get it back in a matter of minutes /hours usually travel on a visa like O or B visa and their details are already in the system. Mine COE took 12 days as they issue them on a flight schedule basis. The sooner your flight the sooner your COE.

My pre approval 1day, and my COE back in 20 mins…….on a Sunday 😱

For Phuket Sandbox:

First you have to be sure you have chosen the right type of permitted person.

Step 1, you should have provided below:

-address abroad and in thailand

-passport id page

-visa/wp if applicable

-vaccine certificate

-covid 19 health insurance

Usually max 3 days, you will receive approval, then

Step 2, you should have attached:

-air ticket

-hotel sha+ confirmation (with qr code)

-payment proof for swabs

Another max 3 days then you will usually receive coe link for download and printing

Pre-approval took 30min, then the approval you suppose to get it in 3-4 working days, something might be wrong with your docs if it takes longer than that.

Did you get pre approval already? I got my pre approval within a few hours - then submitted the final docs and full approval was 2 days later.

The pre approval took 3 days, I submitted the second part on Monday morning. I am worried as I think I may have attached the wrong documents. It said receipt of payment which is what I attached but I've seen on YouTube people attaching the certificate that comes with it, maybe this is why it is taking longer πŸ™ I'm supposed to fly out on Saturday, I really hope it passes before then otherwise I will have to reschedule everything and maybe lose a lot of money. ahhhhhh, should have done this weeks ago

I would email them mate. Should be an email address at the bottom of the coe page. They are normally quite responsive.
