TLDR : Answer Summary
The time it takes to receive the Certificate of Entry (COE) can vary significantly based on individual circumstances and the specific consulate. Experiences shared include processing times of as little as 20 minutes in the UK and up to two weeks for visa applications. From Germany, users report varying times such as 1-4 days for COE approval after submitting necessary documents like ASQ and insurance. It's advisable to ensure all arrangements are made well in advance, especially when planning to travel shortly after visa issuance.

From Frankfurt consulate almost impossible. I tried it several times, they are useless!
I spoke to a consular official I know personally for years. He told me that the difficulties of Germans being approved for visas and coe's is resulting from the treatment of the Thai King by the German government in 2019-20, who was residing in Germany at that time!
And what ties the hands of all Thai consulates in Germany is, that all visas and coe's have to be approved bei the royal Thai Embassy in Berlin!
