You can typically apply for a Certificate of Entry (COE) at least 15 days before your travel date. Some embassies may allow applications up to 30 days in advance. If you have all required documents ready, you might receive pre-approval within 3 days, followed by another 3 days for formal approval.

They ask for minimum 15 days prior to travel. If you have all documents required can get pre approval 3 days then another 3 for formal approval. That was all it took for me. The thai embassy Canberra, excellent.

Depends on the embassy but it seems like most are 30 days

Like I said it seems to be embassy dependant but a guess would be 30 days prior. A tourist visa is valid for 90 days.

Just making sure terms are correct. The visa is valid for 90 days from the date the sticker is put in your passport or you get approval from the new e-visa system that a number of embassies use now. On entry you’ll get a 60 day stamp. You can extend that once for a further 30 days.
